just the beginning.

So here it is. My blog. I don't know exactly how this will work out, or if it even will. But it's worth a shot right? I wanted to start one so that I can eventually look back on it and see all the (hopefully awesome) adventures life brings me...and you are totally welcome to read it! Maybe what I post will be totally sweet to some of you, or maybe it will be totally irrelevant and boring...either way, you are totally invited to read it!

For those of you who are close to me, you know whats been going on in my life. For those of you who don't know what's been going on, I am here to let you know! Yay right?! Well, I have to start off by saying GOD is amazing! And I have to start it off that way because He is the reason my life has been so totally epic lately. This past year, my life has changed MAJORLY. God has become so real in my life. It all started when we had a revival type thing at my church. I learned so much about God and His amazing character, and eventhough I grew up a believer, it didn't become real until the end of the 3 week series. After that, things just skyrocketed. Long story short, I am now a youth ministry leader at my church and I was blessed to plan a mission trip to Honduras this past summer (more about that later!). Now that God has changed my life, everything else has just fallen into place. I go to school full time, and work at Starbucks as a barista. Which is like the best job ever for me right now...plus my coworkers are AWESOME. and I will be starting nursing school in January, which I am like SUPER STOKED about! While there is a lot more that I could share, I think I will leave it there for now. Just for now..

Pretty much I wanted to start this blog as kind of a journal. A public journal (that sounds scary). I guess it wont really be a journal since you write like private stuff in there, and that could get weird and awkward...but hopefully it will be cool to some of you! I know that if I stay in Gods plan, some EPIC things will be happening soon. I will share all of my awesome moments with God, friends, family, random people..etc. This next year is a whole new chapter for me. Stay tuned!
